Not satisfied in my career lurker status. I am branching out. I have developed my medium to involve bigger pieces. I have drawn some still life...and some not so still life. The summer has provided a world of inspiration to me. I have used an "additive" approach to my artwork for years...letting the work evolve as it seemed fit. Now the "white series" has started. I am developing an "additive-minus" style where the work grows out from a point, but a portion remains hidden/masked by a blank space(see: white shorts) While I have not studdied art history and dont really know is someone has done something like this before, it is exciting to see how something can evolve from simple lines to a full page of colorful interaction.
